1687-1750
Plympton, Massachusetts
Nathaniel Fuller was a stone carver from Plympton, Massachusetts. He was a direct descendant of Samuel Fuller, who was a passenger on the Mayflower during it's 1620 voyage to Plymouth, Massachusetts. Nathaniel was a self taught stone carver whose style evolved over the course of his career. He was one of the foremost headstone carvers of Eastern Massachusetts, and his work can be found throughout the state, especially in Plymouth County and Barnstable County. I have only found one example of his work on Long Island so far.
